It’s the first five minutes of the episode. Some random person is about to be brutally murdered by a demon/monster/pagan god/whatever. As they’re running for their life, they look back at whatever’s chasing them and just whisper to nobody in particular, “Oh God, I’m in the first ten pages of a Chuck Shurley novel.”

Since my previous Supernatural map has proved to be popular, here is another one.
This one includes all of the known locations where the Winchesters travelled, and how many episodes took place in each state. It doesn’t include locations that are just mentioned or shown in flashbacks because it is from the data I collected in tracking the Impala. (I was also too lazy to add Scotland to the map, for that one dot.)
